Samples and biobank
Every sample labelled, placed and accounted for
Collect samples at the visit, print their labels, place them in freezer boxes and ship them, with a chain of custody that continues after database lock.
Collected at the visit, labelled at once
Collecting a sample creates its planned aliquots, their IDs and their labels together. One scan of a label’s QR code opens that sample anywhere in ARC.
- Label templates and sizes for your printers
- Print from the browser, as PDF sheets, or through the print agent on a clinic PC
- A label never prints twice by accident
Freezers you lay out yourself
Build each freezer from a template, down to its racks and boxes, and see every box as a map. Scan aliquots into a box, move a whole box, or drag one position to another.
- Boxes kept for a study, or described with your own fields
- Find any sample by scanning or typing its code
A chain of custody nobody can rewrite
Every handling, move and shipment adds to an append-only chain for that sample. It keeps going after the study locks, so the biobank stays accountable for years.
- Shipments under a transfer agreement, received item by item at the lab
- Sample requests approved, reserved and picked into a shipment
- Laboratories see only the aliquots in their custody
